When alone except for myself
I wish to linger
studying the textures of seasons
spending time/more time
quiet & un-rushed
no rough edges snagging my attention,
face toward future, eyes wide
here on a meandering path
inclined like a steep stair, getting out of breath
wanting, wanting, wanting to arrive
in field, in meadow
surrounded by wild taking its own course
all of me all of me surging
along the humming
continuum …
