About the Artist:
Mary Kamerer is an oil painter in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born in Pittsburgh and attended University of Pittsburgh where she began art and photography classes. After moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, she pursued an English degree but continued creative endeavors in her spare time. Over thirty years, she applied her skills to watercolor, ceramics, stained-glass and completed a year-long apprenticeship in goldsmithing. After graduating with a degree from UNCC and raising a family, she began painting in oils. She now oil paints in an impressionist style in her studio at Dilworth Artisan Station, focusing primarily on light-driven still life and landscapes.
These are stunning. I feel them.
